Air TimeI really enjoy shopping for tools. Real tools. "Mans" tools. Being into computers I tend not to spend that much time with "real" size tools. Plus with my RC cars, all my tools are very small and fiddly. I saw the biggest wrench I'd ever seen. I can't even imagine where I would need to use it :) and I love it. If only I had the space at home, it would be scary. I can now fully understand why my father had so much stuff in his garage at home. Until next time.... Ferrari 458 Italia GT2I've been waiting and waiting for this car to be released for a very long time. Happy times for me. A feeling of dreadHave you ever woken up with a feeling that the day you are about to have isn't going to be your best? I have that feeling today but to be honest I have no idea why. Let's see what happens. Until next time... Economics and Politics.I'm Australian. I'm not an American. However, with America being one of the most influential countries in the world, it's difficult not to get drawn into some of the country wide issues. Even though they may not have any direct relation to who I am or where I am right now. One good thing about the way I was raised was that I feel I'm able to think freely and haven't been "brainwashed" in a way. I do think I have the ability to see both sides of the story. This is until there are stories I read regarding the American Constitution. Especially with the recent events of the mass shootings of school children and the subsequent call for something to be done about the amount and types of guns available in America. Now, equally loud, is the volume of the people calling out that any attempt at control of the guns in America is un-constitutional, and that's it. There is no other reason given. I just can't see their side of the argument. It just seems like pure selfishness to me. I listen to a podcast called EconTalk. This weeks podcast was titled "Seidman on the Constitution." It's an amazing talk about the constitution and what it means today and what is being done and said in the "name of" the constitution. Have a listen. Seidman on the Constitution@Econtalk Diets and personalityWhy is it that people who are on diets are really obnoxious? Someone I work with is currently reading a book about a particular diet. He has started it, this morning.... and every overweight person he sees he's making comments, already... This is going to be a very long day. |
